NTT Solmare launches Mobile Comics in Amazon's Kindle-Store

NTT Solmare Corporation (Head Office in Osaka Japan, President: Hiroki Oohashi, hereinafter referred to as NTT Solmare), owns Comic-C'moA (*1) -- Japan's top mobile comic sites, launches Mobile Comics for Amazon’s Kindle-store.

*1: Official i-mode site by NTT DOCOMO, official EZweb site by KDDI, and official Yahoo! Mobile portal site by SOFTBANK MOBILE.

1.Service Summary

One of Japan’s leading pop culture “Manga” is getting increasingly popular worldwide. Mobile Comics is one of the most attractive contents coupled with e-book market’s rapid growth worldwide.
NTT Solmare launches to deliver Comic contents on Amazon Kindle-Store. The Kindle is an e-book reader sold worldwide by Amazon.com. Customers in over 100 countries are able to purchase our Comic contents directly from Kindle-Store.
As a start, 4 Comic contents includes, “Always by your side”, “SHOES REFLECTED IN A PUDDLE”, “Hold Me Always” and “Comic Adventure” our most popular in-house comics. Wholesale Price per chapter is set at US$ 1 to 2 (about 90 to 180 yen). (*2)NTT Solmare plans to introduce more Comics and in various languages.
